		<description>Consumer search is dictated by traffic. With 70 percent market share, neither Microsoft nor Yahoo can catch up with an equivalent service in my opinion. Therefore, the leap frog is needed. But when playing leap frog, one cannot stumble into the foundation from which to leverage the jump. So far, too many stumbles over the last decade. It may be too late for an incumbent to jump over the usage gap.

		<description>I actually recently switched to Yahoo Search (read: I pointed the search form in top-right of my Firefox browser to Y!) in order to get a feel for Yahoo! Search quality.  So far, I like it.  One thing I do not like is that it doesn&#039;t recognize street addresses as Google does.  Apparently I look up addresses several times a week, and every time I need to do that I have to switch to Google.  But other than that, I think Yahoo Search relevance, recall, and speed are much like Google&#039;s.  I don&#039;t really find Google search better.</description>
