I&#039;ve been on the mailing list for Wikia development since it started, and it&#039;s been very, very quiet for a few months. I know they did some development of the Grub crawler bought from LookSmart (but actually used Yahoo&#039;s BOSS for gathering content), I know they had a prototype UI, but nothing very exciting seemed to happen apart from occasional flamewars between Jimmy Wales and Jason Calacanis of Mahalo.com about who was more &#039;open&#039;. All very unedifying.</description>
