<description>We are incredibly busy reaching out to our over 1000 loyal customers to make sure they get value from using SurfRay products as well as welcoming new customers every month. And we are also very busy hiring people and developing new product releases, with a primary focus on Ontolica and MondoSearch. We look forward to making a series of major announcement this quarter. So it’s looking very good from our point of view.

As a bit of background: Effective March 2nd 2009 all assets and activities of SurfRay A/S were bought and taken over by a group of well resourced investors led by the company’s new CEO, Søren Pallesen and a Danish bank. This group of investors has formed a new company called SurfRay 2009 A/S which only activity is to continue development, sale and support of SurfRay’s products.

Neext week on Tuesday July 21st 2009 we will make a formal press release on the new management team (excerpt): “The Danish search engine factory SurfRay now has a new management team in place including a new Managing Director, and two new board members with extensive international experience from careers at Microsoft, Novell, IBM and Digital. Søren Pallesen joined the board in March when SurfRay 2009 A/S purchased the former company&#039;s assets. Søren is 43 years old and has worked with a number of high-tech startups, as well as having a number of years of international experience including time at the analysis company Gartner and as a director of the software companies Baan and E.piphany. The two new board members are Ken Tomassen, Managing Director for Novell in Denmark, Finland, Norway and The Middle East, and Søren Steen Rasmussen, who has a long international career at Microsoft and is currently a Vækstfonden, one of Scandinavia largest venture companies, partner and a board member in a number of Danish growth companies.”
