New Search Publication

If you want to see a round up of a wide range of search information, check out The Enterprise Search Daily. The publication features the work of contributors. The Beyond Search team wishes the publication success. In the issue we reviewed, we noticed articles on such topics as:
- Two Heads Are Better Than One: Introducing Enhanced Collaboration in Google Site Search. The write up covers Google’s inclusion of social functions in its Site Search.
- How You Can Benefit From Search Engine Optimization. An article that explains the upside of a method that we at Beyond Search find a bit disquieting. We know that SEO is a hot topic, so The Enterprise Search Daily may support your SEO craving.
- The Open Group Sets a Common Standard for the Enterprise Architect Role points to a story in Network World that brushes on the subject of search. Our view is that “brushing” and architecting a search solution are quite different activities.
Hopefully, The Enterprise Search Daily Team will point to some of the articles in Beyond Search. We take a definite position on search related topics. Because we don’t do news, our combination of observing departs from the more traditional coverage of search, content processing, vendors, and consultants. We don’t have enough information to know if this publication is auto-generated or a combination of original and previously published information. Either way, TESD is interesting and we found a couple of useful items to boot. However, the article “Performance Improvement Senior Manager – IT Advisory – Enterprise Applications – Business Intelligen, San Francisco, California, USA” was a help wanted ad disguised as a business story. But the ad was not for a search professional as many of the postings on various LinkedIn search groups are. We confident the bugs will be shaken out as TESD moves forward.
