harmon.ie Mobile is the new face of business engagement, because it delivers the same easy-access to SharePoint document collaboration and social networking features, wherever you work – in the office or on-the-go. Right now, editing documents on the go is not yet a popular mode of work, but the ability to see what your colleagues are working and to weigh in during the process is absolutely a business need today. The ability to have the same access (and the same user experience) on the PC or on a mobile device is a key consideration in getting business users who are reluctant to learn new tools on board.

But don't take my word for it; check it out - the Lite version is free!

Comment on Myth and Reality about Predictive Coding by Ben

Jennifer, I agree with the weaknesses of predictive coding.

The key to predictive coding is still keywords - the input. Bad input generates bad output. Therefore, the predictive coding successes I have heard of involve situations where a considerable amount of review has already been completed, or a particular "smoking gun" is already in possession.

Key word search is a tremendous technology and has room for improvement (i.e. generation 2 of predictive coding), but the only way to create a paradigm shift in this industry is to look outside of search, which few are willing to do.

Catelas begins with behaviors and relationships and is able to generate a tremendous amount of case intelligence in 30 minutes without the use of a single key word. Add in key words, and a full case report is generated in 3-4 hours - a report that would take a week (or a month) to generate utilizing other tools. The report represents a "cliff's notes" - the complete abridged story about the case.

Understanding people relationships enable the keyword technologies to focus on fewer communications and generate fewer false positives.

Catelas' Early Case Intelligence Report provides tremendous inputs for predictive coding, but ... if counsel already has "smoking guns" and a clear understanding of what the outcome will be -- then she will move towards case resolution, and not spend more money on technology.

Great stuff! Happy to know that people are developing complementary enterprise applications for <a href="http://www.qas.co.uk/" rel="nofollow">data management</a> to approach and harness its potential for shorter product development cycles, accelerated innovation, and increased operational profitability.

My company uses SharePoint for intranet, 700 users. The company website is not run on SP but they are looking to do so. I am in the marketing area and don't want IT getting too involved in content side of website if they host it on SharePoint. Do you know of any articles that 1. argue for different team to look after SharePoint as intranet platform, and web platform and/or 2. articles that recommend hosting websites off-site with dedicated hosting, due to downtime and security concerns if IT hosts in-house (my concerns!). Re second article topic: is there a simple case for hosting SharePoint intranet and website both internally, due to ease of sharing docs between platforms, for example? tx

Good article. There are so many mortgage insurance providers out there. I am shopping for quite some time, but having hard time finding out the right one. Found from bankrate that <a href="http://www.reliancefirst-capital.com" rel="nofollow"> reliance first capital </a> gives good discounts. Will it be good in the long run? Any thoughts?
