eDiscovery

May 21, 2008

I’m at the Enterprise Search Summit in New York City. There’s quite a bit of talk about eDiscovery. What’s missing are a number of vendors who compete in this market sector. To fill this gap, here’s a partial list of vendors in this sector. Let me know if you have others whom you want me to add to this list.

[…] The issue with email is that there is a lot of it. Vivisimo’s ability to scale will be under the microscope in this hotly-contested sector. There’s Autonomy and dozens of other players in this space. Plus more vendors are jumping on this bandwagon every day. You can find a list of other vendors here. […]

[…] There are more than 300 companies in the text processing business. I track about 12 firms focusing on the eDiscovery angle. I published a short list of some vendors as a general reference to readers of this Web log here. […]

    Hello,

I think you should also add ZyLAB (http://www.zylab.com) as a vendor!

Thanks for the suggestion. ZyLAB is profiled in my new study Beyond Search and identified as an up and coming search vendor. I did not intend this list on my free Web log to comprehensive. Indeed, I am holding back information that appears in my for fee studies. Therefore, no ZyLAB in this posting. I have some rules, and i try to follow them to avoid undercutting the fine publishers who sell my studies.
